Pizza is my favorite meal!
It's probably because it's not only quick and easy to make, but you have so many different options and ways to make it. I love making my own homemade pizza crust for my pizza night, but I also enjoy using pre-made pizza dough and biscuit dough as well. If you've never tried using canned biscuit dough to make a pizza, then let me tell you that it's the perfect option to make pizza in a hurry.
Plus there's no time to wait for it to rise, which makes it the perfect time saver. Pop the biscuits out of the can, flatten them, and the dough is ready for your favorite pizza toppings. You can even top the dough while it is still raw, without pre-cooking, which saves so much time. Winning!
This recipe is so simple and delicious and something your whole family is sure to love.
Let's get started!
What Ingredients Are Needed To Make Pizza With Biscuit Dough?
- Canned Biscuits - Use any canned biscuit that you prefer. It should be easy to locate in the refrigerated section at most grocery stores. I love using a flaky and buttery biscuit.
- Alfredo Sauce - Grab your favorite jar of classic alfredo sauce or make it homemade yourself with three simple ingredients. To make it yourself all you need is melted butter, heavy cream, and parmesan cheese.
- Mozzarella Cheese - A mild cheese that pairs well with the other pizza ingredients. Feel free to use any shredded cheese that you prefer.
- Cooked Chicken - Keep it simple by shredding some rotisserie chicken to add protein and savory flavor to the alfredo pizza.
- Baby Spinach - Add a bit of freshness with some chopped baby spinach.
See the recipe card below for exact ingredient quantities and instructions.
How To Make Chicken Alfredo Pizza
Begin the recipe by preheating the oven to 400 degrees F. and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray it with cooking spray. Remove the biscuits from the can and separate them.
Place each individual biscuit on the prepared baking sheet and lightly press each biscuit to flatten it out a bit on the pan until they're about 6 inches in diameter or your desired mini pizza size.
Spread a thin layer of alfredo sauce evenly on top of each biscuit. Top the alfredo sauce with an even sprinkle of shredded mozzarella cheese on each biscuit. Evenly divide the cooked shredded chicken and fresh spinach on top of each biscuit.

Top each pizza evenly with the rest of the shredded cheese. Place into the oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the pizzas are golden brown around the edges and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve immediately while still warm. Enjoy!
Recipe Variations
- Chicken Breast - Cook some chicken breast and shred it to top the pizzas. This is also a great time to use leftover chicken or even canned chicken.
- Bacon - Cook and chop some crispy bacon to add on top of each pizza along with the chicken to create a chicken bacon alfredo pizza.
- Spices - Sprinkle on some crushed red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, or ranch seasoning.
- Olive Oil - Drizzle on some olive oil before serving for an extra layer of flavor and fat.
Storage
Storage. If you have any leftover pizzas, allow them to cool to room temperature before placing them in an airtight container and storing them in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
Reheating. When you're ready to serve your biscuit pizzas again, reheat them in the oven at 300 degrees F. until warm thoroughly. They can also be reheated in the air fryer or microwave for a quicker option.
Freezing. The cooked pizzas can be frozen for up to 30 days. When you're ready to enjoy them again, simply reheat them in the oven at 300 degrees F. until warm.
