Sticky buns are a super tasty treat that is made easier when you use crescent rolls! Here is a simple 30 minute recipe for making your own homemade sticky buns with crescent rolls.
Preheat oven and spray baking dish with cooking spray. In small sauce pan, heat butter until foamy and then add brown sugar, corn syrup, and lemon juice. Boil for 1-2 minutes.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top the sticky mixture evenly with the chopped walnuts. Set aside the baking dish while working with the crescent rolls.
Open up crescent rolls and do not take apart. Slather on butter and cinnamon sugar mixture as you would cinnamon rolls. Roll up and cut like cinnamon rolls. Place in baking dish.
Place the sticky buns into the oven to bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown. Carefully remove the baking dish from the oven and allow it to cool on a wire rack and top with the leftover sticky sauce.
