Summer is the best time for a fresh and cool dessert.

This recipe utilizes the wonderful berries that are in season to whip up a fast dessert that the whole family will enjoy!

Yields 2 to 4 servings (depending on portion size)

    Ingredients:

    • 1 loaf (10 ¾ oz.) frozen pound cake, thawed
    • 1 package (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    • 1 container (7 oz.) marshmallow crème
    • 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
    • 1 cup fresh blueberries

    001

    Directions:

Cut pound cake in half. Wrap up half and save for another use and cut the other half into ½ inch cubed pieces.

    004

In a small mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and marshmallow crème until smooth.

    006 007

In two to four small serving dishes, layer the cake cubes followed by fruit. Alternate cake and fruit as many times as you need to until your serving dish is almost full.

    009 010

Lastly, top with the cream cheese mixture and chill until serving.

    Enjoy!

Yum, this looks delicious. This looks easy enough that my oldest son could help make (he loves cooking).
