Easy 30 Minute Skillet Southern Cornbread


Southern style cornbread is always a hit, and this skillet version is delicious. Learn how to make a yummy 30 minute cornbread in a cast iron skillet inside of this recipe!


Preheat oven to 425 and place cast iron skillet with some butter in it inside of the oven to warm up while you prepare the batter.

Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl.

Add the cornbread mixture to the prepared cast iron skillet and make sure to spread it around so that it is evenly spread.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool for 5-10 minutes and serve with butter.
