Cling Peach Bourbon Glazed Burgers are classic grilled burgers basted in a glaze made of cling peaches, bourbon and brown sugar. So flavorful, delicious and just in time for the summer grilling season. Serve with grilled cling peaches and your favorite burger fixings!
The temperatures are warming up and it makes me want to spend more time outside and fire up the grill as much as possible. Now when it comes to grilling, I have to admit it is not my area of expertise. However when it comes to burgers just know that I got you.
The great thing about burgers is they are simple to make with the main ingredient being meat/beef of course. Once you have selected the meat that you prefer, next comes an endless opportunity to be as creative with flavors as possible. Now donโt get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with a classic burger, but I do like to experiment and come up with as many unique flavor combinations that I can. Today is of course no different as I will be sharing a recipe for a Cling Peach Bourbon Glazed Burger.
Why use cling peaches?
California Cling Peaches are perfect because I keep them stocked in my pantry all year round. They are harvested, packed and shipped at their peak ripeness to ensure one of a kind natural sweetness and flavor. They are great to always have on hand because they have a long shelf life, are affordable and available in cans, jars and single-serve cups. All of this certainly makes them the perfect compliment to many traditional and unique recipes. Plus they are always affordable, always ready, always delicious!
What ingredients are needed to make a burger with a cling peach glaze?

How to make this cling peach bourbon glazed burger recipe:
Begin the recipe by grabbing a medium bowl to prepare the glaze. Add the California Cling Peaches, bourbon, brown sugar and stir together until combined. Set aside.
In a large bowl add the ground beef, ground black pepper, salt, paprika, garlic and stir the mixture together to combine. I prefer to do this by hand. Form the mixture into 4 to 5 even size hamburger patties.

Heat the grill to medium high heat and add the burgers allowing them to cook 5 to 10 minutes on each side until desired doneness is achieved. This step can also be completed in a large cast iron skillet or grill pan on the stovetop over medium high heat as well.
After the burgers have been cooking for 3 to 5 minutes, generously baste each side of the burgers with the cling peach bourbon glaze. Carefully remove the burgers from the heat onto a serving plate, allowing them to rest while preparing the cling peaches.
To the heated grill or same pan, using tongs, remove the cling peaches from the glaze and add to the grill. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes before turning each cling peach to the other side to cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
Carefully remove the cling peaches and serve immediately with the burgers, between a bun, with your other favorite burger fixings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese. Feel free to also add any glaze that you may have left!
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator, separate from the buns and burger fixings for up to 3 days. Reheat the burgers in the microwave until warm.
