Equipment
1 Large baking sheet
Ingredients
1
pound
pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
½
pound
white American cheese (sliced or shredded)
1
cup
shredded mozzarella cheese
¼
cup
grated Parmesan cheese
1
tablespoon
pizza seasoning (or Italian seasoning)
1
cup
pepperoni slices
1
cup
marinara sauce, for dipping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out the 1 pound pizza dough into a 14-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
Layer the ½ pound white American cheese evenly over the dough, followed by the 1 cup mozzarella and ¼ cup Parmesan.
Sprinkle evenly with 1 tablespoon pizza seasoning. Layer 1 cup pepperoni slices on top.
Starting from the long side, roll the dough tightly into a log. Pinch the seam closed and tuck the ends under.
Transfer to the prepared baking sheet, seam side down. Use a small knife to cut a few slits on top to release steam.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with 1 cup marinara sauce for dipping.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Notes
Roll tightly
to avoid gaps after baking.
Egg wash optional
for a glossy golden crust.
Cheese swap:
Use provolone, cheddar, or fontina.
Add-ins:
Try sliced black olives, sautéed onions, or chopped spinach.
Make it spicy:
Add crushed red pepper flakes or spicy pepperoni.
