Ingredients

fresh peaches

butter, cubed

brown sugar

ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Clean and halve the peaches. Remove the pit and place the peach halves cut side up in an 8x8-inch baking dish.
Add about ½ tablespoon of butter into the pit cavity of each peach half.
Sprinkle each with 1 teaspoon brown sugar and a pinch (about ⅛ tsp) of ground cinnamon.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the peaches are tender and caramelized.
Optional: Broil on high for 2 minutes for a golden top.
Spoon the juices over the peaches and serve warm with ice cream.

You can use either light or dark brown sugar.
For a sweeter version, double the brown sugar.
Leftovers keep well in the fridge up to 4 days.
