Slice the 2 large green tomatoes into ¼-inch thick slices. Pat dry with paper towels.
Season both sides of the tomato slices with salt and ground black pepper.
In a shallow bowl, whisk together 1 cup all-purpose flour, ½ teaspoon seasoned salt, ½ teaspoon paprika, ½ teaspoon onion powder, and ½ teaspoon garlic powder.
In a second shallow bowl, whisk together the 2 large eggs and ½ cup milk.
In a third shallow bowl, combine ½ cup cornmeal and ½ cup breadcrumbs.
Dredge each tomato slice in the flour mixture, coating both sides.
Dip the floured slices into the egg mixture.
Coat in the cornmeal and breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Place coated slices on a wire rack set over a baking sheet.

For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne to the flour mixture.
Don’t overcrowd the pan, fry in batches for best results.
