Homemade Cold Brew Coffee

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cold water
  • 3 oz. coarse ground coffee beans
  • large glass jar
  • cheesecloth, nut milk bag, or fine mesh strainer
  • ice for serving
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  • In the large glass jar or container, combine the cold water with the coffee and stir. Place the lid on the jar and store in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours or up to 24 hours.
  • When ready, remove the jar from the refrigerator and securely place the cheesecloth over the mouth of the jar to strain and pour the cold brew coffee into another container.
  • Serve the coffee over 1 cup of ice with your favorite creamer and sweetener.
