FROZEN BLUEBERRY MARGARITA

This Frozen Blueberry Margarita is cold, refreshing, and perfect for the summer. It is sweet and delicious, made with tequila, frozen blueberries, plus a few other simple ingredients. Make this frozen treat to sip on any day of the week!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces frozen blueberries
  • 2 ounces fresh lime juice (2 limes)
  • 4 ounces tequila
  • 2 ounces orange-flavored liqueur or orange juice
  • 1 ounce maple syrup or simple syrup
  • 1 ½ cups ice
  • lime wedge to rim glasses
  • coarse salt or sugar to rim glasses

Instructions

  • Begin the recipe by grabbing a blender along with all of the ingredients to make this margarita recipe.
  • To the blender pitcher, add in the 12 ounces frozen blueberries, 2 ounces lime juice, 4 ounces tequila, 2 ounces orange-flavored liqueur or orange juice, 1 ounce maple syrup or simple syrup, and 1 ½ cups ice.
  • Place the lid onto the blender and blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds.
  • Pour the margarita from the blender into a glass. Serve and Enjoy!
  • For a salt-rimmed glass, take a lime wedge and run it along the rim/top of each glass before dipping and turning in some large flake salt to coat the top of the entire glass.

Notes

*Make the simple syrup –  Mix one part cane/granulated sugar and mix with one part warm water until the sugar dissolves.
