  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil


  • In a coffee mug, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and granulated sugar until combined.
  • Stir in the egg and vegetable oil until combined. Careful not to over mix.
  • Place the mug into the microwave and cook from 1 minute. Check the mug and microwave 10 seconds at a time until firm but still gooey.
  • Remove from the microwave and allow it to sit for 1 to 2 minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm and top with walnut and chocolate chips if you prefer.



*may use a sugar substitute or less granulated sugar if you prefer.
