- 6 tablespoons coconut sugar
- 6 tablespoons water
- pinch of sea salt
- 1 cup raw pecans
In a medium skillet, combine the 6 tablespoons coconut sugar, 6 tablespoons of water, and pinch of sea salt over medium-low heat.
Bring the mixture to a rolling boil and then reduce the heat to simmer. Once the sugar has completely dissolved, add in the pecans.
While stirring the sugar mixture constantly, cook until all liquid evaporates. The pecans will become sticky as you stir.
Remove from the pecans from the heat and spread them out in an even layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow the pecans to cool and harden. Store in an airtight container at room temperture up to 5 days.
Serve these coconut sugar candied pecans over ice cream, salads, or your favorite sweet treat.
