Boil water for the angel hair pasta, you will want to have it hot and ready.
Heat olive oil and melt 2 Tablespoons of the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the onions and garlic and cook for two to three minutes; until the onions are translucent.
Add in the shrimp, then stir and cook for a couple of minutes.
Squeeze in lemon juice and add in white wine, 2 Tablespoons/the rest of the butter, salt, pepper, basil, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Stir and reduce heat to low.
Throw angel hair pasta into the boiling water. Cook until just done/al dente, when done drain and reserve a cup or two of the pasta water.
Remove skillet from heat. Add pasta and toss, adding a splash of pasta water if it needs to be thinned. Taste for seasonings, adding salt and pepper if needed. Top with grated Parmesan if you would like and Enjoy!
