Vegan Pizza Recipe – This recipe is perfect for when you need food in a hurry that is quick, easy, and delicious. Perfect for the entire family.
There comes a point during the day that you need something to eat right…but if you are anything like me and you wait until the last minute to go to the grocery store then you probably have very few food items in which to choose from. When this happens I suddenly have to become very creative with the ingredients that I do have available.
I’m talking about a serious ‘Chopped‘ style type of situation….except without any of those ingredients that I have never heard about…Like, what in the world is Buddha’s Hand?!?! Yea I can guarantee that you will not find any of that in my kitchen. I’m not even sure what section of the grocery store you would even locate that ingredient.
Today such said item will be pizza (of course) because you can almost always make pizza.
Vegan Pizza Recipe Ingredients:
- Leftover bakery bread (it was starting to get hard which made it perfect to use)
- pasta sauce
- daiya cheese (mozzarella and cheddar)
- roasted red peppers
- nutritional yeast (sprinkled prior to serving)
Take your bread, slice it, and top it with your desired amount of sauce and the toppings in the order that your would prefer.
Place it under the oven broiler on low heat until the top becomes bubbly and golden.
Remove it from the oven, sprinkle with nutritional yeast, and serve immediately. It is just that simple to have pizza in minutes for you to enjoy. And just to think all you needed was a few ingredients and a few minutes…Try to top that Chopped 🙂
