I may have shared with you that I work outside of the home, but I also work in a communal workspace.
In my office this is basically a very open space with multiple desks and seating and several people work in this area. It actually works out great because we usually have multiple people working together on projects and so being able to be in the same space allows for better communication on these projects as well as be more creative and co-work out any issues that may come up.
The good thing about this is that I get along quite well with my co-workers, but the bad part is that working so closely and sharing the same space with multiple people means that if one person gets sick…we all get sick. I do try to avoid this by taking good care of myself by eating fruits and vegetables, drinking plenty of water, a shot of apple cider vinegar each morning, and getting sufficient rest at night, but earlier in the week I noticed that no matter what I did I was more tired than usual and so I decided to give my body the extra rest that it needed and…yada yada yada…I woke up with a sore throat and I’m sure you already know the rest.
So here I am…my turn to take a ride on the train to sick-ville.
Hopefully this will all blow over soon and I am actually on the end of this sickness journey all thanks to the miracles of modern medicine.
If you have any cold or flu remedies please feel free to share them in the comments section below…I would love to hear them!
